Does Mobile Zoo contains all mobile models available around the world?

No. Collecting every single existing mobile in the world will take time. This detection process requires handset owners to download and use MobileZoo Hunter or any MobileZoo compliant application. By doing this, the handset is analyzed and its genome is uploaded to one of our servers, thus completing the collection.

Does MobileZoo's capable of detecting any handset?

MobileZoo is capable of analysing any existing and upcoming handset so that you get all valuable information you need to take decision.

Meanwhile, not all model handset does contain manufacturer and/or model reference. This is why some handsets are labelled "Unknown" or "Not yet detected".
This does not mean that they won't never be detected in the future. The team here is continuously working on new analysis methods that could improve the detection stage. As a consequence, we regularly release new versions.

Can I include MobileZoo technology in my J2me application or game?

Sure. We release a small jar that you can seamlessly include into your app. Get there http://developers.mobilezoo.biz to get all the information you need, including the javadoc.

What handset MobileZoo is compatible with?

Currently, Mobile Zoo is compatible with any J2ME handsets. Since version 1.4, it is available for MIDP1 handsets in addition to MIDP2.

Does MobileZoo support natively Symbian or Windows Mobile?

At the moment, no native Symbian or Windows mobile version is available. If you have skills in any of the two OS, you could certainly help us making a port on these environments. Pease get in touch.
