Following the P900 and the recent P990i, SonyEricsson is likely to introduce a new mobile phone in the P series running Symbian.
The P700i is equipped with a touch screen QVGA display (240×320) with up to 262k colors (18-bit colors).
Supported network: GSM and CDMA, with GPRS.
On the Java Side
The Java VM is a Monty VM (J9 VM-2.3).
The P700i fully supports the following JSRs: jsr-36 (CDC), jsr-46 (Foundation profile), jsr-62 (Personal profile), jsr-75 (PDAP), jsr-82 (Blutooth API), jsr-118 (MIDP2), jsr-120 (WMA 1.0), jsr-135 (MMAPI), jsr-139 (CLDC 1.1), jsr-169, jsr-172 (WSAPI), jsr-184 (M3G), jsr-185 (JTWI) and jsr-205 (WMA 2.0).
